Last year, our heroes, Mike Horn and Cyril Despres, crossed Iceland on the Husqvarna Norden 901, showcasing their dependability through tough conditions. This year, we sought to explore a more meaningful idea, seeking a place where adventure and culture meet. Using the new Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition model, we traveled across the incredible country of Mongolia. Mongolia, a vast and rugged nation, is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. It is also one of the few places where you can still encounter nomad people, who have been maintaining this way of life for centuries.
The remarkable teamwork between Mike and Cyril is revealed as they face challenging environments and push themselves to their limits. Throughout this journey, the crew was able to catch a glimpse of the nomadic people, who became some of the most warm and welcoming individuals. To ensure a successful production, the team had to combat extremely cold weather conditions, especially challenging at night. We had a small team to make sure that we could maintain maximum flexibility during the shoot. This also allowed us to get extremely close to the pilots, capturing the intense emotions without disrupting the expedition.
This film provides unforgettable moments in the wilds of Mongolia, capturing the true essence of this unique and magnificent country.
